Nature conservation done by Kharkiv Zoo

The zoo participates in EAZA environmental campaigns, and also has its own line of environmental programs, promotions and events, which include, in particular:

• thematic days devoted to the protection of species present in the zoo collection;
• actions that instill respect and careful attitude to local fauna (snakes, birds of prey, bats, etc.) and teach people not to take chicks, marsh turtles, and not to collect rare primroses from nature;
• actions promoting the values ​​of sustainable development.
