The online seminar “Terrarium as an essential component of a modern Zoo” will be held on February 17.

The seminar is conducted by members of the AZU: BION Terrarium Center and Cherkasy Zoo “Roshen”.

The seminar is intended for employees of terrarium and aquaterrarium departments of zoos, as well as those employees of zoos who are interested in the specified topic.

The work of the seminar is carried out in the following directions:

• Modern approaches to equipment for exhibiting terrarium animals.
• The principles of laboratory maintenance are a necessary component of the full functioning of the terrarium exposition.
• Veterinary care and diseases of animals of the terrarium group.
• An effective food base is the key to the stability of the terrarium.
• Directions of development of terrarium collections in zoological institutions.
